The telecommunication sector in Mauritius has gone through drastic changes during the last few years with the emergence of new licensed operators, whose requirements are different from our traditional business customers.

On the other hand, the IT-Enabled Services (ITES) sector comprising of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Call Centre Operators, has now become an important contributor to our GDP and is now considered as the 5th pillar of our economy.

The Wholesale Services Division to specifically serve this new segment of customer within the Commercial Department. Mauritius Telecom Wholesale currently provides them with a range of services on a one stop shop basis ranging from Global service ordering, Fault Management to Unique Billing without any hassle of having to deal with a multitude of foreign operators.

Through its unmatched connectivity to the SAFE Fibre Optic Cable System as well as its Point of Presence in Paris, Mauritius Telecom laid the foundation for the proliferation of BPO and Call Centres in Mauritius since 2002.

Futhermore, we have currently some 24 high quality direct routes to most of our major partners and carriers. Additional routes to all other destinations are provided through transit and hubbing facilities.

We service any intermediary which is licensed to provide ICT services to a third party. Our current client base includes mobile cellular operators, international ICT companies, services providers and fixed line operators both locally and internationally.
