Due to the enhanced security in Windows Vista, the drivers for WiFi and USB have to be upgraded for My.T to work. However if your PC is connected via Ethernet, then the migration from XP to Vista will have no effect. The driver for WiFi can be downloaded from the My.T site www.myt.mu and the driver for USB will be posted in the near future. However a practical point to be taken into account is to download the driver prior to the migration of OS.

If your PC is connected to your live box by USB, when migrating to Vista you will not be able to enjoy My.T surf. The reason being that the USB driver for Vista is being tested and is not ready yet.
I have a PC with My.T offer and I want to migrate from XP to Windows Vista, what do I need to do?
If your PC is connected to your live box via Ethernet, My.T surf will work without the installation of any driver. However if your PC is connected to your live box via USB or WiFi, then the respective driver would need to be downloaded prior to the migration of OS. The WiFi driver is available for download here. Concerning the USB driver, the latter is not available at present; it is under test and will be available for download soon.

After subscribing to My.T offer, a technician from Mauritius Telecom will the necessary drivers and installation CD will proceed with the installation. Only WiFi and Ethernet connection is possible for the present.

Someone having a centrino laptop migrating from windows to Vista will be able to connect to the livebox provided that he/she obtains all the drivers from his/her manufacturer/supplier.
